Leta Sobierajski is a dedicated graphic designer who has passionately pursued her craft without any backup plans. After graduating, she engaged in a variety of projects but felt constrained by traditional work environments. Teaming up with Wade Jeffree in 2016, they established a studio known for its quirky aesthetics and innovative works. Focused on creating lasting designs, they are exploring the use of robust materials like metal and considering projects that benefit the community. Sobierajski emphasizes the importance of recording ideas in multiple formats for future reference, while also navigating her organized yet complex approach to work.
When I went to school for graphic design, I really didn't have a backup plan - it was this, or nothing. My work is constantly evolving.
The duo, who share a taste for quirky aesthetics, produces sculpture, installations, or anything else they can dream up. They're searching for another medium.
In some ways, I like to think I'm impeccably organized, as I have countless spreadsheets tracking our work, our lives, and our well-being.
With so many ideas swirling around, Sobierajski will record a concept in at least three different ways to unearth it later.
