The Barbican Art Gallery in London will host a major retrospective on the late artist Noah Davis in 2025, marking the first presentation of his work. Davis, based in Los Angeles, is known for his figurative paintings that delve into Black life, crafting scenes that oscillate between realism and dreamlike elements. His art, deeply grounded in humanity, features everyday moments and emotional textures. He also co-founded The Underground Museum in LA to provide free access to art, and this exhibition will showcase over 50 of his works from 2007 until his untimely death in 2015.
