Katharina Grosse produces vibrantly hued abstractions using acrylic paint applied with an industrial spray gun and creates large-scale, site-responsive installations. White Cube will represent Grosse and present her first show at its Bermondsey space in April 2026, and will exhibit a new painting in its Art Basel Miami Beach booth next month. Grosse will continue to share representation with Gagosian, Galerie Max Hetzler, and Galerie nächst St. Stephan. Notable site-responsive works include spraying the Kunsthalle Bern in 1998, transforming a Rockaway Beach structure in 2016, and spray-painting Messeplatz during Art Basel Switzerland. Current and upcoming solo exhibitions include Staatsgalerie Stuttgart and Oslo’s Munch museum in September 2026; a 2022 traveling retrospective and major biennials further mark her career.
