Destination D23 brought fans together with Broadway talent for performances and stories marking Beauty and the Beast's 30th anniversary. Susan Egan, the original Broadway Belle, appeared alongside Michael James Scott and Daniel Gardner, who plays Lumiere on the new North American tour. Daniel Gardner described falling in love with Lumiere and called playing him for the anniversary amazing, adding that he was fangirling to share the stage with Susan and other performers. Michael James Scott emphasized the joy of meeting fans and said performers take those interactions seriously because they matter to both fans and artists. On The Red Carpet offered further updates.
