The program includes more than 225 institutions nationwide, including six Bay Area museums such as the de Young, Legion of Honor, and Oakland Museum of California, plus two Sacramento museums. Special exhibitions, ticketed shows, and fundraising events are excluded. Each free admission is limited to the individual cardholder and is nontransferable.
