Artist Andres Serrano Discussed Trump in Emails With Jeffrey Epstein
"I was prepared to vote against Trump for all the right reasons," Serrano wrote to Epstein. "But I'm so disgusted by the outrage over 'grab them by the pussy' that I may give him my sympathy vote."
""being drawn to Christ yet resisting organized religion.""
""Of course, I'm not political. I don't judge, I observe.""
House Oversight Committee records released an exchange between Jeffrey Epstein and artist Andres Serrano dated October 10, 2016. Serrano wrote that he had been prepared to vote against Donald Trump but that disgust over the outrage about 'grab them by the pussy' might prompt a sympathy vote. Serrano posed for a portrait of Epstein in 2019 and had photographed Trump in 2004. Serrano rose to prominence with the 1987 photograph "Piss Christ," which provoked conservative opposition. Serrano displayed a 1,000-item Trump memorabilia installation and proposed a Trump altar for the Venice Biennale. Serrano stated he is not political and observes rather than judges. Epstein was convicted for soliciting prostitution from a minor and died in jail while awaiting trial.
