Time named the "Architects of AI" Person of the Year for 2025, celebrating individuals who imagined, designed, and built artificial intelligence. The selection deliberately honored people and groups rather than the technology itself. Forrester analyst Thomas Husson characterized 2025 as the year AI shifted from early adoption to mainstream consumer life.
