Krutrim plans to raise $1.15 billion by next year, leveraging Aggarwal's funding through his family office. The startup is developing India's largest supercomputer in partnership with Nvidia and has introduced Krutrim-2, a 12-billion parameter language model excelling in Indian language processing. Aggarwal envisions collaboration across the Indian AI community for a robust ecosystem.
Aggarwal said, 'By open sourcing our models, we hope the entire Indian AI community collaborates to create a world-class Indian AI ecosystem.'
