Samsung's Galaxy S25 series, including the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, emphasizes advanced AI features but shows minimal differences from last year's S24 lineup. While the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip enhances performance, the designs remain similar, with aluminum frames and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on all models. The S25 and S25+ boast the slimmest profiles yet, making them easy to handle. However, the overall evolution feels understated, leaving consumers questioning the need for upgrades as some AI capabilities seem redundant or underwhelming when compared to previous innovations.
While some of them have been impressive, like live translation and annotation, others (often involving generative AI) aren't actually helpful - or notable - enough to warrant regular use.
The Galaxy S25 and S25+ are as premium and solidly built as any of their predecessors...both of the devices' edges are flat just like their predecessors - even the S25 Ultra's design has caught up here too.
