"According to Salesforce Missionforce and Government Cloud CEO Kendall Collins, the deal brings Missionforce into service across the Army, unifying data and analytics while laying the groundwork for broader DoD use. Salesforce will provide the US Army a Salesforce-based cloud data analytics system under a 10-year contract valued up to $5.6 billion. The deal will operationalize Missionforce across the Army to unify data and analytics, enable a single dashboard for merged data sources, manage personnel from hiring to retirement, streamline workflows, and accelerate decision-making. Missionforce launched in September 2025 to serve defense, intelligence, and aerospace agencies. The contract is positioned as an agent-ready foundation for eventual adoption of agentic AI across the Army and wider Department of Defense, where agentic AI planning has already occurred.
