Roboforce, a robotics startup founded in 2023, has successfully raised $10 million in an early-stage funding round led by Nobel laureate economist Myron Scholes. The company focuses on developing AI-powered robots for both manufacturing tasks and outdoor projects. Their robots can execute fine motor tasks with one millimeter accuracy and are designed to operate in challenging environments. With the new funding, Roboforce plans to expand its workforce, enhance robot development, and initiate pilot projects for early customers using a subscription leasing model for its robots.
"Building AI robotics is all I do, my heart is in building AI robotics," said Leo Ma, co-founder of Roboforce, highlighting his passion for the industry.
The robots developed by Roboforce are capable of performing precise manufacturing tasks and can operate in tough outdoor environments, showcasing versatile applications.
