Radio Station's Attempt to Replace Hosts With AI Ends in Absolute Disaster
Briefly

"I have been turned into a job-killing monster who wants to replace real people with avatars," Mariusz Marcin Pulit, the editor-in-chief of Radio Krakow, stated regarding the backlash from the decision to employ AI hosts.
"I was very angry that real, deep talks and real interviews with real people were replaced with something totally fake," said Lukasz Zaleski, one of the former hosts, expressing disappointment over the station's choice.
The AI-generated personalities for the presenters, especially one named Alex Szulc, became a point of contention, with critics arguing that the representation was misleading and lacking authenticity.
Despite the initial spike in listeners from 0 to 8,000, the controversy highlighted a larger societal concern regarding job security in the age of AI, igniting national debates.
