Rabbit has showcased a new 'generalist Android agent' in a demonstration that highlights its AI's capacity to control apps on a tablet, a functionality initially promised but unfulfilled by its R1 device. Instead of using the R1, the team inputs commands from a laptop. The AI performs tasks like finding content and managing a grocery list, albeit slowly and imperfectly. While significant progress has been made, Rabbit acknowledges that the AI's capabilities are still limited and emphasizes future updates to enhance its systems further.
The model generally does the things they ask, sometimes well and sometimes with quirks... Rabbit's AI agent is clearly still a work in progress.
Rabbit has steadily rolled out updates, like the ability to train its AI agents to complete specific tasks or prompt it to remake its own interface.
