Nvidia is in advanced talks to invest $500 million in Wayve, a UK self-driving car start-up developing AI systems for autonomous navigation. Nvidia previously participated in Wayve's record $1.1bn funding round alongside Microsoft. Nvidia unveiled the commitment during a London event coinciding with President Trump's state visit and pledged £2bn in UK start-up investments across AI and fintech, including Revolut and Synthesia. Wayve's backers include SoftBank, Uber and Eclipse Ventures.
