Sources said that there are five pillars on which the four-year BTech programme has been developed. During the course, a student will get to learn mathematical foundations of AI, algorithmic foundations and architectural foundations of machine learning. The fourth component will be based on AI in language and AI in image. The fifth component will focus on applications in various fields like AI in agriculture, healthcare, finance, manufacturing and others.
Students pursuing BTech in AI are likely to have an edge over those in computer science engineering, leading to better job prospects and premium jobs. Effective knowledge in AI and machine learning has already resulted in good jobs with high salary packages.
