Hate Being Ghosted? A New App Might Help With That.
Briefly

Closure is an innovative app designed to provide users with a semblance of emotional closure by allowing them to interact with an AI replica of a person who ghosted them. Developed by Anna Iokhimovich, whose personal experiences inspired the project, the app aims to create a non-confrontational and empathetic environment for users. Closure joins a growing range of AI-powered mental health tools but comes with caveats, including potential privacy concerns, as highlighted by recent critiques of AI in mental health settings.
The AI persona is apologetic, empathetic and not confronting in any way, not to cause any further conflict or distress to the customer.
Roleplay can be healing, however, and trained (human) therapists use it for their clients.
