Google Discover now surfaces AI Mode actions that transition users from article URLs into an AI-assisted view. Tapping the three-dot menu on an opened Discover article reveals three choices: Summarize with Al Mode, Ask a follow up with Al Mode, and Dive deeper with Al Mode. The option appears via Chrome custom tabs on Android and has been observed in recent beta and public posts. Multiple social posts and a video demonstrate the AI Mode options in the Google app. Availability on iOS is not yet observed, and user adoption remains uncertain.
