Google is testing AI-generated product summaries in AI Mode that appear after clicking a product in the product carousel. The panel opens on the right and shows a generating animation before loading the AI summary. The tester reproduced the feature roughly one time in four browser attempts. The generated summary includes pros and cons and other relevant descriptors at the top of the listing. The test appears within free listing results in AI Mode. The behavior was identified via SERP Alert on X and corroborated with screenshots, a GIF, and a video demonstration by Brodie, dated September 21, 2025.
