A recent report intended for presentation to a CDC vaccine committee erroneously cited a non-existent study regarding thimerosal as a vaccine preservative. The report, presented by Lyn Redwood, traces back to the anti-vaxx movement's influence, as suggested by its associations. This misinformation was uncovered when Robert Berman, allegedly linked to the reference, confirmed he did not author any such paper. His actual study, published elsewhere, found no connections between thimerosal and neurodevelopmental disorders. This incident raises concerns about the reliance on unverified data in public health discussions.
I don't have a publication in Neurotoxicology by that title... the reference in the slide set, as far as I know, does not exist.
My study was published in Toxicological Sciences and did not find evidence of thimerosal exposure at vaccine levels in mouse behaviors.
