The trend aligns with other market signals, including OpenRouter’s leaderboard where OpenAI ranked above Anthropic in December 2025. Over the past 12 months, Anthropic’s paying share rose from 9% in May 2025 to 26% higher, while OpenAI’s share declined slightly and overall AI product usage increased.
