The joint venture plans to build up to 1 gigawatt of AI compute capacity in Saudi Arabia by 2030, starting next year. HUMAIN will deliver modern data centers while AMD and Cisco provide GPUs, compute, and critical networking infrastructure. The initial phase will deploy 100 megawatts using AMD Instinct MI450 Series GPUs and Cisco systems. AMD will establish a Center of Excellence in Saudi Arabia to accelerate local integration and innovation. The infrastructure aims to provide cost-efficient, scalable AI computing, support innovators inside and outside the country, and strengthen the digital economy by localizing talent and technology.
