Amazon CISO: Iranian hacking crews 'on high alert'
Briefly

Since the military conflict with Israel escalated, Iran's cyber operatives have intensified their cyber activities. However, unlike Russia's shift in tactics during its invasion of Ukraine, Iranian hackers have continued with their established goals such as espionage, data theft, and ransomware, without transitioning to more destructive methods. Amazon's Chief Information Security Officer CJ Moses noted that while there is noticeable increased activity, it aligns with previous cyber strategies focused on financial and intellectual property gains rather than aggressive sabotage.
As opposed to what we saw in Russia when they invaded Ukraine, we haven't seen a change in their goals.
The biggest takeaway I had from it: It's essentially a high alert, everybody go to work, but the methods and what they are doing haven't changed.
