AI is rapidly refactoring software development and Agile practices by reducing direct code contributions and increasing the value of orchestration and integration skills. Organizational responses must operate at three levels: strategic (infrastructure, investment, and long-term returns), product (data-driven design, model integration, and redesigned development workflows), and individual (prompt engineering, tool orchestration, and continuous reskilling). Incremental or "good enough Agile" will no longer guarantee career or business viability. Short-term hype can obscure deep long-term change consistent with Roy Amara's Law.
