Josh Kulkin ’01 donated $10 million to Cornell Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Sciences to bolster foundational artificial intelligence research. The gift will support foundational research, recruit new faculty, and expand access to state-of-the-art computing infrastructure. Funds will help attract top talent and provide resources to advance AI research across multiple disciplines. Cornell Bowers maintains commitments to ethical AI research and development, with activity in AI ethics and policy, AI and science, natural language processing, computational linguistics, information retrieval, machine learning, computer vision, game theory and decision theory, and robotics. The investment will expand research capabilities and educational programs.
