Jurrien Timber scored a superb goal on his long-awaited return to action as he played 45 minutes for Arsenal U21s in a 2-2 draw away to Blackburn Rovers.
Timber gave a very good account of himself operating as an inverted left-back and opened the scoring with an excellent effort in the eighth minute.
This game provided a fascinating insight into the extra dimension Timber could add to the first-team when fully fit.
Blackburn managed to equalize with two goals before half-time, frustrating Mehmet Ali for dropping points in the U21s penultimate regular season fixture.
