This achievement follows his earlier record as the youngest player to appear in the Champions League. Manager Mikel Arteta believes Dowman's youthful enthusiasm and naive approach to the game has positively influenced the rest of the squad during their pursuit of an unprecedented quadruple. Defender Riccardo Calafiori praised Dowman's maturity on the pitch despite his age. However, concerns have been raised about balancing his GCSE commitments with regular first-team football during the title run-in.
