In conversation with RTBF, Lokonga stated, 'Spain is something I've always wanted. So today, being at Sevilla is really an opportunity that I have to respect and take seriously.'
Lokonga emphasized, 'I want to stay here, and I think this is a club where I can settle in for the long term by staying for three or four years and then maybe try to find another challenge.'
Sevilla and Arsenal previously agreed on a purchase option for 12 million, but Sevilla may renegotiate given Lokonga's contract situation.
