The midfielder joined Arsenal in 2007 and progressed to scholarship terms in 2019, having already featured for the U18s when he was a schoolboy. Azeez proceeded to make his competitive debut for the first-team as a substitute against Dundalk in the Europa League in 2020.
Azeez found himself back at Arsenal for the first half of this season and was only on the fringes of the U21 squad, with his contract having been due to expire at the conclusion of the campaign. It is a shame to see a player who was once tipped for very big things fall to this level but hopefully he will be able to play regularly at his new club and revitalise his career.
