Arsenal are hopeful of welcoming captain Martin Odegaard back from injury in time for next week's Champions League clash with Inter.
Odegaard has been sidelined with an ankle injury since September, with fears he could miss the rest of the year, but he's progressing well.
Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed Odegaard will "definitely" miss the Newcastle game but backed the midfielder to make his comeback soon.
Defender Riccardo Calafiori remains unavailable, but good news for Arsenal as Gabriel Magalhaes has returned to training and is in contention.
