In 2025, Dell announced a significant rebranding of its laptop lineup, moving away from classic names like 'XPS' and 'Inspiron' to more generic labels. The Dell 14 Plus, a successor to the Inspiron series, maintains a familiar design while incorporating next-gen advancements. The laptop boasts a comfortable keyboard, a sturdy aluminum chassis, and an anti-fingerprint coating, which ensures a clean look during use. With solid performance powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor and ample memory, the device blends traditional features with modern expectations, promising a satisfying user experience.
Back in early 2025, Dell made a bold move. The company announced that it was going to rebrand its entire portfolio.
To repeat what I said in my old Inspiron 14 Plus review, 'the device has many of the hallmark features I enjoy in a laptop.'
The comfortable keyboard from the Inspiron 14 has returned. Its chiclet-shaped keys remain gentle yet responsive to the touch.
Sure enough, the Dell 14 Plus did not have a single fingerprint smudge on it in all my time handling it.
