"As is always the case with "free" device deals from carriers, it's not really free outright, though over time, it's still a great deal. To take advantage of this bundle deal, you'll ned a device to trade in, and to sign up for a qualifying phone, tablet, and/or watch line. You'll essentially get paid back for the devices over a period of two to three years through monthly bill credits, and you'll still need to pay tax. Here are all the details."
T-Mobile is offering an "Ultimate Apple Bundle" that lets new and existing customers obtain an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch for no upfront cost through trade-in and monthly bill credits. Customers can select one, two, or all three devices, which would cost about $2,000 separately. The offer requires trading in an eligible device in any condition, signing up for qualifying phone, tablet, and/or watch lines, and accepting monthly bill credits over 24 to 36 months. Taxes and a $35 device connection charge apply. The Experience Beyond plan ($100/month for a single line) and existing Go5G Next customers qualify. Verizon is offering comparable Apple device promotions with different trade-in requirements.
