I've tested every Linux email client - and this is the one to beat
Briefly

The article discusses the author's experiences with various Linux email clients, emphasizing their dissatisfaction with outdated UIs and inefficiencies. After previously favoring Thunderbird, the author found it slow and outdated, leading them to Geary, which boasts a modern and clean design that integrates well with current Linux desktops. Unlike other clients like Evolution that offer additional groupware features, Geary's simplicity and focus on email-only functionality make it a go-to choice for users looking for efficiency and aesthetics.
One of my issues with several Linux email clients is outdated UI. But it doesn't end with looking more like early 2000s software; some of those clients have a UI that's too busy to be efficient.
The Geary UI is clean and modern enough to blend right into nearly all Linux desktops. Even with multiple email accounts configured for Geary, it's still a cleaner UI than Thunderbird or Evolution.
If you're like me, you'd prefer your email client to do only one thing -- email. I have other tools I use for calendars, contacts, and tasks.
There is one email client that I went back and forth on for a while, but eventually came back to and... will most likely stick with Geary for some time.
