iOS 26 update now seeding, here are all the iPhones getting it
"Apple is rolling out iOS 26 to users today. This is one of the biggest visual overhauls of the iPhone operating system to date, thanks to the introduction of the new Liquid Glass design. As usual, the update went live at 10AM PT/1PM ET/5PM UTC time to millions of users around the world at the same time. To help you navigate the update cycle, we've gathered all eligible iPhones that will run iOS 26."
"iOS 26 is available for iPhones going back to 2019. This means that you'll need an iPhone 11 series or newer device to get the update. This also marks the end of the road for iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, which are the three devices that will not get the latest update, and will get a new iOS 18.7 update instead."
iOS 26 begins widespread rollout today, introducing a major visual overhaul called Liquid Glass and becoming available simultaneously worldwide at 10AM PT/1PM ET/5PM UTC. The update supports iPhone models from 2019 onward, requiring an iPhone 11 series or newer for installation. iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are excluded and will instead receive iOS 18.7. The update may take time to appear on devices while seeding to millions of users. Users can check availability under Settings -> General -> Software Update. The iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro are listed among supported models.
