Google Fi subscribers can now send rich text messages to Android users through RCS, thanks to the latest iOS 18.4 beta release. This update marks a significant improvement in cross-platform messaging, allowing for larger file attachments, high-quality photos and videos, audio messages, read receipts, and more elaborate group chat features. While RCS support has been available on major carriers since the rollout in iOS 18, it has been previously lacking for several MVNOs. Moreover, the iOS 18.4 beta introduces other features, including Visual Intelligence for the iPhone 15 Pro models.
