Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will launch on Macs with Apple silicon on July 17, 2023, through various platforms. This version will utilize Metal technologies for enhanced performance, visuals, and battery life. The game will support spatial audio compatible with AirPods. Mac systems need at least 16GB of unified memory and macOS 15.5 for optimal performance. Although the game is not in active development, a significant update is in the works, but update 2.3 has been indefinitely delayed. A sequel titled Cyberpunk 2 is expected to include a second city alongside Night City.
