Apple will enhance iPhone notifications to clearly indicate when content has been adjusted by its AI, following criticism over incorrect summaries reported by BBC.
The BBC highlighted that these AI summarizations by Apple do not reflect - and in some cases completely contradict - the original BBC content.
Apple stated, A software update in the coming weeks will further clarify when the text displayed is summarization provided by Apple Intelligence.
Apple mentioned that receiving summaries is optional; users can disable the feature in their notification settings to regain control over what appears.
