Apple reportedly plans to drop USB-A ports with the M4 Mac mini and is working on a low-end Magic Keyboard

Apple's M4 Mac mini will feature multiple ports but notably lacks USB-A, transitioning fully to more modern connectivity options like USB-C, ethernet, and HDMI.

Gurman predicts that the standard and Pro versions of the Mac mini will start shipping in September and October, bringing significant hardware changes.

The new Mac mini will come equipped with five USB-C ports, an ethernet port, HDMI, and a headphone jack, reflecting Apple's shift away from USB-A.

Additionally, a more affordable version of the Magic Keyboard is in the works, aimed at entry-level devices and expected to launch by mid-next year.
