Apple begins pulling iPhone SE, 14, and 14 Plus from EU
Briefly

Starting December 28th, all new phones sold in the European Union must have USB-C. This change has prompted Apple to begin removing its older models with the lightning port from its Swiss online store.
The Swiss Apple Store now states that any configuration of the iPhone SE, iPhone 14, and iPhone 14 Plus is 'currently unavailable,' signaling Apple’s compliance with the upcoming EU regulations.
It remains uncertain why Apple pulled these models from Switzerland a week ahead of the deadline, though other EU online stores still show stock for these devices.
The EU regulation led to Apple's adoption of USB-C for the iPhone 15 in 2023, and rumors suggest an upgraded iPhone SE may arrive in 2025.
