Wayla adds electric vehicles to its on-demand fleet in Milan through new partnership with Atlante - Sustainable Bus
"Wayla, the Italian startup offering a van pooling service in Milan, announces it has introduced five new electric vehicles to its fleet, with more to come in the coming months. To power them, the company has signed a partnership with Atlante, a European operator developing one of Southern Europe's largest networks of fast and ultra-fast EV chargers, fully powered by renewable energy. Wayla began service in October 2024 and has been testing also the modular pods provided by the Italian startup Next Modular Vehicles."
"Wayla will deploy Fiat E-Ducato vans equipped with a 110 kWh battery and 150 kW fast-charging capability, enabling a 20-80% charge in just over 30 minutes and a range of 300-350 km per vehicle. Through the partnership, Wayla's electric vans will access Atlante's charging network under dedicated conditions. Vehicles operating in Milan and surrounding areas will feature Atlante's logo, making the collaboration visible on the road. In turn, Wayla will provide shuttle services for events organized by Atlante, further strengthening the cooperation between the two companies."
Wayla deployed five new electric vans and plans additional additions in coming months to expand sustainable van-pooling in Milan and nearby areas. The company partnered with Atlante to use a fast and ultra-fast EV charging network powered entirely by renewable energy across Southern Europe. Wayla will operate Fiat E-Ducato vans with 110 kWh batteries, 150 kW fast charging, 20-80% in just over 30 minutes, and 300–350 km range. Vehicles will display Atlante branding and use dedicated charging conditions. Wayla integrates a digital routing platform and serves Milan and Monza-Brianza, offering fixed times and prices.
