VDL has announced its contract to supply and maintain 42 Low Entry R-NET buses for Transdev, effective from December 2025 to December 2038. These modern Citea buses aim to support Transdev's goal of zero-emission transport. The models, produced in Belgium, prioritize passenger comfort and safety. They offer unique features such as a low entry height, wheelchair access, multimedia amenities, and the latest safety systems, including blind spot detection and intelligent speed assistance to ensure compliance with EU safety regulations.
The new generation Citea buses are expected to fulfill Transdev's commitment to achieving zero-emission transport in the Hoeksche Waard/Goeree-Overflakkee region from 2025.
These vehicles are designed with advanced safety features complying with the latest General Safety Regulation, enhancing safety for drivers, passengers, and road users.
