Op-ed: What the MTA won't tell you about the Queens Bus Network Redesign - QNS
Briefly

The Queens Bus Network Redesign has caused chaos and hardship for bus riders and drivers since its Phase 1 launch. Many bus stop signs remain unchanged, leading to confusion for passengers, especially older adults who cannot rely on mobile apps. Some routes have eliminated many stops, increasing travel time significantly for mobility-impaired riders. Moreover, riders often face difficult paths to access their buses, with many encountering inaccessible sidewalks. The reality experienced by passengers starkly contrasts with claims made by transit officials regarding the network's performance and impact.
The NYC Department of Transportation did not change the bus stop signage on every route... This has left passengers in the dark, particularly those unable to use or rely on mobile apps.
On some routes - including local routes - just about every other bus stop has been eliminated. Mr. Crichlow should know by now that bus speeds are not always representative of passenger trip times.
