MZA Warsaw has ordered a new batch of e-buses to Solaris (for 50 units)

Solaris has signed a contract to deliver 50 articulated Urbino 18 Electric buses to Warsaw, boosting the city's already significant electric bus fleet. Currently, Warsaw's MZA operates 173 electric buses, all supplied by Solaris. This new order takes the total Solaris electric buses in the fleet to 224. Each bus ordered features advanced technology, including Solaris High Energy batteries and a modular drive system to maximize passenger capacity, with a standard plug-in charging method at the depot. Solaris leads in zero-emission vehicle supply, delivering over 5,500 units globally.
Solaris will deliver 50 articulated Urbino 18 Electric buses to Warsaw, bringing the total electric fleet for MZA Warsaw to 224 Solaris buses.
Warsaw's MZA has decided to further expand its zero-emission fleet, which is already one of the largest in Europe, primarily comprising Solaris vehicles.
Each of the new buses will have a modular drive system to optimize passenger space, featuring an electric motor and Solaris High Energy batteries.
To date, Solaris has supplied nearly 1,350 buses to MZA Warsaw, including 163 electric vehicles, with a growing zero-emission fleet.
