Isuzu has initiated mass production of its all-electric mid-sized D-Max pickup truck in Thailand, equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel-drive system delivering 140kW of power. This electric variant matches the towing capacity of existing diesel models while offering a payload capacity slightly lower due to its 66.9kWh battery. The D-Max EV boasts a maximum range of 163 miles, extending to 224 miles in city conditions. Designed similarly to the diesel D-Max, it aims to compete against the Ford Ranger in Europe, with plans for a right-hand drive version in the UK by 2026.
