Astral issued a single-lot €49 million tender for 129 battery-electric Class I buses (7.75–8.50 m) for urban and suburban services across the Lazio region excluding Rome. Iveco, in collaboration with dealer Romana Diesel and bodybuilder Indcar, won the contract with the Mobi City body on an eDaily electric chassis. The first 80 vehicles are scheduled for delivery by September 30, 2026. Indcar reported record growth and unveiled a new brand identity at Busworld Europe 2025 while celebrating the upcoming delivery. Vehicles will be offered in two configurations and include vandal-resistant ABS monocoque urban seats.
