This tender marks a significant investment in sustainable public transport, with a total value of EUR 126.480 million, focusing on both trolleybuses and battery electric buses.
The first lot includes trolleybuses designed for accessibility, featuring fully lowered floors, dedicated spaces for persons with disabilities, and advanced IMC charging capabilities.
In addition to the new buses, Bologna is investing in hydrogen technology, actively expanding its eco-friendly transportation options with ongoing deliveries of fuel cell buses from Solaris.
