Temperatures could hit highs of 27C today as 'odd rumble of thunder' may break sunny spells in parts

The Department of Agriculture has urged visitors to forests, parks, beaches and other recreation areas to not bring barbeques and other sources of ignition as vegetation fires pose a danger to resources and public safety.
Temperatures will reach between 23C to 27C before dropping to lows of 10C to 14C during a rather humid evening and some showers across Munster.
Cloudy periods mixed with sunny spells and dry weather continue into tomorrow with a chance of light showers in the southwest and humid, dry conditions.
The pattern of warm, dry weather will break on Tuesday, when it will perhaps be more unsettled with overcast conditions and a few showers over the southern half of the country.
