Long-running Kerry country market moves to new location ahead of celebrations marking second decade

Castlegregory Country Market will operate at a new location this summer, moving from the local school grounds to the Community Hall on West Main Street in the village. The market starts at 10am on Sunday, May 31 and continues every Sunday until the end of August. Traders are preparing to welcome both new and returning customers as the market approaches its second decade of trading in Castlegregory. The market calls on the community to support local West Kerry producers amid growing global uncertainty. Traders make, bake, or grow their own products, providing authenticity and traceability. The market functions as a social hub each Sunday morning and will feature special events, attractions, and customer incentives to mark its 10th year.

"Castlegregory Country Market has been relocated from the local school grounds to the Community Hall on West Main Street in the village. The market has relocated as it prepares to celebrate its second decade of trading in Castlegregory. Garry Marcham, spokesperson for the market, said he and other traders are looking forward to welcoming new and old customers to the market at the Community Hall."
