Sky: Loftus-Cheek to miss Como game with physical problem - who will replace him
"There is some late and not very great injury news for AC Milan on the day of their game against Pisa at San Siro. According to what is being reported by Sky (via MilanNews), Massimiliano Allegri had made a decision on the attacking duo that he was going to field against Como: it was going to be Rafael Leao coming back in to partner Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The battle if anything was between Leao and Christopher Nkunku, so the Englishman was certain to start."
"However, he is not fully fit due to an injury issue and will miss the game, so Nkunku will replace him. The rest of the line-up should be the one report in the last few hours: Maignan in goal; Tomori, De Winter and Pavlovic in defence; Athekame on the right flank; Bartesaghi on the left flank; and a midfield trio of Ricci, Modric and Jashari. It is an untimely blow for Loftus-Cheek, who had just hit a good run of form."
Rafael Leao had been set to return to partner Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the AC Milan attack, but Leao is not fully fit and will miss the match, with Christopher Nkunku stepping in. The expected starting XI includes Maignan in goal, a back three of Tomori, De Winter and Pavlovic, Athekame on the right and Bartesaghi on the left. The midfield trio is projected as Ricci, Modric and Jashari. Loftus-Cheek arrives in good form, having opened the scoring in each of his last two away starts against Bologna and Pisa.
