Player Ratings: Lazio 1-0 AC Milan - De Winter struggles; Leao miss
"Maignan (6.5): He made a couple of good stops in the first half and followed that up with a great one on Noslin in the second half. He was left for dead on the goal, as none of the defenders picked up Zaccagni on the corner. Tomori (6): A few situations here and there could have been handled better, but overall, his defending was solid and also crucial in some moments."
"De Winter (5): Unfortunately, we got to see quite a lot of mistakes from him tonight, mixed with defending that can only be described as average. Although it was hard to see if he was marking Zaccagni, he was the last to make contact with the goalscorer before opting not to follow him. Pavlovic (6): He got an early yellow card, deservedly so, but that wasn't really his fault. His defending was okay overall and he also had some good moments in possession."
AC Milan were eliminated from the Coppa Italia by Lazio after a late goal and an overall poor team performance. Goalkeeper Maignan earned a 6.5 for several good saves but was beaten from a corner. Tomori received a 6 for mostly solid defending. De Winter was rated 5 after numerous mistakes and average defending. Pavlovic got a 6 despite an early yellow and mixed possession moments. Saelemaekers and Ricci were marked 5.5 for misplaced passes, lack of creativity, and timid play. Jashari earned a 6 for decent movement and promising passes. Rabiot earned a 6 and made some important runs.
