Inter Milan secured a tight 2-1 victory over Udinese in Serie A, with goals from Marko Arnautovic and Davide Frattesi. Head coach Simone Inzaghi reflected on the match, admitting his nerves affected his composure, particularly after Udinese pulled one back with Oumar Solet's goal. Inzaghi's second yellow card for dissent forced him to watch the concluding moments from afar. Despite this, Inter maintained their grip on the game, but will face upcoming matches without several key players, including Inzaghi due to his suspension.
"A splendid first half by the lads, where we deserved more than the two-goal lead," Inzaghi told DAZN. "In the second half, before Solet's goal, we hadn't conceded too much. After that we lost our lucidity, against a team like Udinese that has always shown interesting things."
"I made a mistake at the end. I apologised to the referee," Inzaghi added when questioned about his sending off. "Foul on Correa seemed clear to me, then came the corner kick in which Solet almost scored."
